When did you start working in the CG industry?

I started in 2012 as Junior modeler for TAT production (http://tatprod.com/)
But I had already done one year as freelance, I did a lot of architecture, house and stuff like that. Tat Prod was the real start in the industry.

At first, when I was about 10 years old I wanted to be a Car designer. I did artistic school and it was a really great experience. I learn Product design but after I discovered I can learn 3d in France and that it was possible to work for Movies or Video Games I changed my mind.

I get inspired from mother nature globally, I like to observe my garden… yes my second passion is

that can inspired me. And of course there are a lot of incredible artists who inspire me every day.

How does a typical working day look like?

It depends, but most of the time I work for TAT prod, so a basic day of work, and at lunch time I sculpt a project I have in my mind, and after work I’m on another project. Most of the time is a personnal work but from time to time it’s a Freelance job.

What does your workplace look like?

My workplace is quite simple, my PC and the Cintiq, some figures are looking at me on the shelves beside me. Some picture on the wall complete the whole thing.

How do you stay motivated in this industry?

I’ll never stop, the motivation is the learning… I will always learn and I want to progress and express myself through sculpure and creativity. The thing is always keep in mind that you create for you when you do personnal work, don’t wait for each „like“ or „comment“. Most of the time when I finish to publish an artwork, I just start another one and stay motivated, don’t wait for anything. Just practicing is great.

Most of the Time I use Zbrush, V-ray and Photoshop . I try to add Substance Painter and sometimes I use keyshot.

Which books would you recommend to the read?

I love to read Bernard Werber. It’s science-fi but it’s really make you travel in other worlds. It allows you to boost you imagination!!

What music do you listen to while working?

I listen a lot of different style of music, it depends of what i’m sculpting. When I sculpt, the character have a story in my head, so depending of what I want to tell I’ll choose a different music. But the overall thing I enjoy is Metal, from Iron Maiden to Alestorm!
