What led you into the CGI/3D? Tell us your story?
before i start on this sector i was pro gamer(call of dutty mw2) , so i was playing a lot !!!! i was really inspired by every games i played before , and i was really shy with my creation !( before ) keep this for me . at the end of this year i decided to begining with 3d ( maya , zbrush , 3ds max ) in school , i learn essentially low poly and texturing . 1 day i do my first photoshop class and i fall in love with this softwar ! i was really exited to discover all this secret 🙂 so i stop my school for start to learn by myself ( almost 6 month after my first contract was drop for gameloft ) after this contract i knew this was my best experience and i never stop ^^
Where do you go to get inspired? What/Who inspires you?
I think everywhere but essentially internet „arstation “ every day before i start my drawing i check „arstation“ and this is really really important to take a look at the other creativity . every one of us have is own creativity .. give us more emotions or techniques for progress !
akira , evangelion , moebius is my strongest inspirations for my works !
How does a typical working day look like?
like a freelancer every day is differents , every days new surprise or new challenge ! but when i start my workday i can work for 5/6 h days ! and i dont sleep alot ( my creativity is more intense when the night come out )
What does your workplace look like?
my workplace is pretty simple ! my tower a big desk ( for traditional and macket ) my basic intuos s ( it s basic but work s good ), and my screens of course , and i work with a collectif „lesgarslaxistes“ in a other office ( so a other desk ).
How do you stay motivated in this industry?
i love my work , it s my passion , my life ! i can fall but i wake up every times for learn ( i mean it s life ) ! only solutions 🙂
What is your passion beside CGI/3D?
video games , i play a lot , it s a big big source of inspiration for me . music to , some of my friend do some pretty fire things ! but 80 % of my times is draw.
How do you keep your portfolio up to date? Any tips?
every time i finish a personal project i share on my portfolio , it s like a book for model ! my techniques changes with times , i want to propose something better and better every times ! so i try to show this on my work . and i start a new personnal draw every weeks beside the work .
What Software do you use to create your artwork?
photoshop almost every times , but some times i play with sketchbook pro for symmetry and shapes !
What Software do you want to learn in future? And why?
i really want to go back to zbrush ( the last one ) its been a long times a dont work with ! and i really love the feeling on this soft !
Which books would you recommend to the read?
i am not really focused on book but i can tell you one who touched me :

What music do you listen to while working?
a lot of things , it s like period some times i prefer rap , after rock , after funk ! but the most one is funcky stuff ( but not to much commercial )
Any advice for new Artists?
if you want to be better, so do it !! don t wait something , if you want to work for you passion , so do it with pleasure . but continue to share your vison and your potential with a public ! draw more , take a lot of refferences . ! if you want you can !
