I started to work in CG Industry since 2014 after I graduated from college. After that I began to work in gaming industry in 2016, and now I’m doing animations.

What led you into the CGI/2D? Tell us your story.
Like other concept artists, I love animations, games, and movies. I’m fascinated by all kinds of stories especially fantasy. When I was young I was always day dreaming creatures and drew them on papers, that influenced me a lot, so when I started to choose my career path, concept design was on top of the list.
Where do you go to get inspired? What/Who inspires you?
Many things inspires me, I usually find my inspirations from paintings and movies. Other source like music moves me as well, I can draw in different styles based what kind of music I’m listening. I also watch sports, that helps me to draw figures and human bodies in all kinds of gestures. Anything can be an inspiration for me.
I also want to mention Micheal Jackson, he’s my idol. I think he’s the real peace and love person. Animation characters and theirs makers are like lights in my life. They guide me to find who I really am and what I really want to do.
How does a typical working day look like?
Nothing particularly special, I seat in front my desk and work all day, then go home and take care of my cat, and play video games or do some exercise, then go to bed.

How do you stay motivated in this industry?
Learning makes me happy, in this industry you have to keep learning, and I’m passionate about animations and CG, so everyday is not like working, its learning process and I really enjoy it.
I don’t think I have do this job or in this industry, whatever you do is a way to understand the world and yourself, so first stay motivated in real life and find your passion. By the way I love the movie “The secret life of Walter Mitty”
What is your passion beside CGI/2D?
I love music, so I’m learning guitar and piano now. I really want to be a street artist, and my friends can sing and dance together, also draw together for sure. Probably I can try this when I’m retired. I also love to play clay and to travel, go some places where don’t have a lot of people. I have multiple interests and hobbies, haha.
How do you keep your portfolio up to date? Any tips?
I use Art Station to upload my project, usually when I finish a project I’ll upload it, otherwise I’ll never have time to do it.
What Software do you use to create your artwork?
What Software do you want to learn in future? And why?
Zbrush, Maya, or 3D Max, I want to design toys in the future, so I need to learn how to transfer 2D to 3D. I’m also interested in AE and C4D.

Any advice for new Artists?
Keeping learning, and stay curiosity on different things. Observation is the really important too. And practice! Don’t let other people take your dream away, fight for it, and keep doing what you really love.
